Enerkem Inc. ( www.enerkem.com ), a waste-to-biofuels and renewable chemicals company, announces the launch of a new research project with the Government of Canada. City Of Atlanta Investment In Large Carts Showing Benefits

ATLANTA—The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works delivered 96-gallon recycling carts to 65,000 residents in late 2012 and early 2013. So far, overall city tonnage has increased 55 percent compared to the previous year’s data. Additionally, as a result of the new larger carts, 18 solid waste jobs were created.
